Tony was a great guy and very hard worker. We worked together for several years in the Wilmington office and he was very sincere and direct. I also found him to be a fierce competitor when we stepped on the basketball court. I will pray for him.

Dear Ella, I am writing to you today to tell you how sorry I was to hear of Tony's passing. My name is Audrey McGrath, Stephen's Mom.As you probably know,Steve is working at this time in Germany. We spoke over the weekend and he told me about Tony. We would have come to the service today but we had to much going on with our family. I know Steve was happy to see you both when he was home at Christmas time although he could tell Tony was not doing to well.Iit is hard to understand God's plan for each of us but we know He knows and we just have to let go. It is not easy to do,We hope your Faith will sustain you and your family. Tony's life was cut short but is looked like he crammed quite a bit into a short time. I'm sure you are very proud of him. With our deepest sympathy for you & your family, Frank& Audrey McGrath

To the Burton family, please accept my family's most sincere condolence on Tony's passing. Like many have said, we are still in shock getting the news at work. The last time he and I talked over the phone he sounded his normal happy self. Not having Tony's laugh and "you're killing me" coming from his office is so missed. As he and I worked together as manager and secretary, we had some early growing pains that turned into some great laughs during many of our daily meetings. I've learned much at work from him that I didn't have to do before. He would come of with some great ideals for Christmas parties (for example) and then when he was asked to run some of them, he would say "you all got that" with a big smile and chuckle. The support staff would know he had something he would start with a laugh and yet when things were crazy busy, we would work though all the tasks. He always supported my family medical appointments. He will tell us during our team meetings of my much you guys meant to him and loved to give growing examples during our open trivia it started team minutes again and again. As busy as we were, he always would make time for walk ins and at the same time, ask for personal time, when he saw his family on his phone. My wife and I are still saying Wow! My prayers are with your family as so go though the stages of grief that we have and still do over my wife's parents, my mom, and other family members. God bless!

To the family of Tony Burton you have all my deep prayers for him and you. It is very hard to lose a love one. Anthony was a great friend. He was always concerned for everyone he met. Always had a kind word. He was real, down to earth, a great guy that I will always remember. Just know that while he is no more in the physical, he is alive, God has created his soul which is imortal. So keep him close in your hearts. He will always be close by. Just a thought away. Again my prayers are with you. Michae & Krystal Anello

To the family of Tony Burton you have my deepest sympathy. I work for the IRS in St. Louis and met Tony in 2008. Tony had this fun loving personality which caused us to become fast friends. Over the next several years we had limited contact but conversation picked up as if no time had elapsed. Tony cared deeply about helping his fellow co-workers to be treated fairly. We had a number of conversations to devise strategies to assist people in getting promotions. My life was blessed by knowing Tony.
