So many memories and I've learned so much from you Rev. Fred. I thank God for putting you in my life at a young age to give me that extra guidance. You were the community center (Union Baptist) dad and took the job seriously. I understand as an adult as to why you'd be so hard on me at times. You made me understand life and the actions that follow whether good or bad. Thank you for seeing in me what others didn't at the time and just thank you for being there as a community leader, Pastor, friend, & father. I thank your family for sharing you because you're truly a treasure to me.
Love Larry Joyner Jr.

Looking back, I thank GOD for Central Baptist Church because as a youngster, Rev. Banks' sermons had passion and the "fire" that he taught with helped to shape, mold and assist my way of positive thinking throughout my life. We'd like to offer our sincere condolences to the Banks family and ask that the Almighty Father comfort and give you peace during these times of distress and sorrow. May we meet again my Brother...
Sincerely,
WM Clem Faulkner, Jr. and Family
