Sending my condolences to the Dorman family, Mr. Dorman was not only myself and other family members principal but he was my Mother's Principal as well. He was such an incredible and amazing man that always pushed his people to be better and do better. Just because some of us came from the Projects he let us know that we don't have to be like it. Wow I want to thank Keith dorman for being a mentor and a friend. I’m not sure where my life would have gone if brother Dorman didn’t step in and set me on the right path. I’m glad I always thanked him and I hope I’ve made him proud.

To the Family of Mr. Keith Dorman,
I extend my deepest sympathy to his wife, children and grandchildren. Mr. Dorman was my Principal at Bayard Elementary School in the late 70's. Entering the 4th grade and seeing an African American as the Head of the School was profound for me. Now at the age of 50 I can still see the professionalism and how he treated us as though we mattered. All these years later I still feel the love and warmth that Mr. Dorman displayed to his students. Thank you for your service to your students. When children feel loved and cared for they are eager to learn. May you rest in the loving arms of our savior.
