Obituary of Nathaniel Walter Hudson

Nathaniel W. Hudson was born on April 26, 1944 in Snow Hill, MD to the late James and Louise Hudson. He later moved to Wilmington, DE during his early adult years.

He departed this earthly life peacefully on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. He received his formal education at Worcester High School in Newark, MD. Nathaniel was previously married to the late Mattie Everett.  He was employed by Wilmington Finishing Company in Wilmington, DE for 20 years and was later employed by Concord Beverage in Concordville, PA for 24 years until his recent retirement in Aprilof 2018.

Nathaniel was affectionately known as Pop, Nate & Hut. He was a quiet man of few words and he had a great love for cars as many could see from his car collection. In his spare time he could always be found washing one of his cars no matter what the weather was. He was always willing to help others in any way he could.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Frinchele Hudson, one grandson, Quordon Jarmon, one great granddaughter Ah’meria Baise, three brothers; Randolph, William and Elwood Hudson and two sisters; Mildred Drumgo and Shirley Parker.

He leaves to cherish his memory his four children: James Everett (Jackie), Wilmington, DE, Michele Jarmon and Nathan Hudson, Newark, DE and Andre Allen, Salisbury, MD,  two brothers; Lester Hudson, Baltimore, MD and  Preston Hudson (Doris), Wilmington, DE, one uncle, Tom Collins of Powellville, MD, sixteen  grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
