Dear Mr. Preston Hudson and Family,
This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. God said, I AM THAT I AM: Be still, and know that I am God: Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: Seek you the LORD while he may be found, call you upon him while he is near: The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; The joy of the LORD is your strength. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Although uncle Nathaniel passed so suddenly know this, we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. During this time of bereavement, we extend our deepest condolences.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
