Obituary of Louis Cornelius Green

Louis C. Green, III, age 46 of Bear, DE departed this life unforeseen and suddenly on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 in New Castle, DE. Louis C. Green, III was born on May 25, 1963 in Washington, DE to the late Louis Green, Jr. and Eunice E. Green. Known as "Bug" by his close family and friends, he attended Delaware State College for two years and graduated from William Penn High School in 1981. Louis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He proudly worked as a volunteer firefighter for Station 18 while employed as a concrete finisher for Shorts, was also subsequently working as a General Contractor. In 2000 he met the lovely Althea Alston, with whom he united in Holy Matrimony on July 8, 2006. Louis was a Past Master of Star in the East Lodge #1. He was also a member of Palestine Chapter #3, H.R.A.M., State of Delaware; Corinthian Consistory #5, A.A.S.R.; 32nd Degree, member of Suakim Temple #60 A.E.A.O.N.M.S., Star of Bethlehem Chapter #8 O.E.S., and Joshua of the Heroines of Jericho. Bro. Green will forever be remembered for his many tasty meals and barbeques by his loving family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Althea Green; 6 daughter's/1 son-in-law, Shanae Warner, Naeemah Miller (Lemuel), Kenya Wilson, Shirleah Storey, Tanae Waters and Natae Waters; son, Tarell Waters; 4 sister's/3 brother's-in-law, Wanda Green, Pamela Caldwell (Austin), Antonia Hughes (Reginald) and Carolyn Outen (Kevin); 3 brother's/3 sister's-in-law, Jamaal Green (Alycia), Keith Alston (Tara), Kevin Alston (Charlene); father-in-law, Alfonso Alston; 1 granddaughter; 5 grandsons; 2 goddaughters; one godson and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
