Bug I will say farewell for now.. We have been though a lot of life's experiences together the ups and downs. I will really miss you and appreciate your devoted talks you had with my boys. As you took your final journey on May 11, 2010 I was very sad and lost. God had a better plan for your life and I thank him for the opportunities we shared during your season. You will forever live in my heart with Mom and Dad...

Pop-pop,
Looking at this makes it official that you have left here in the physical. I know your in a better place, but the selfish me still wants you here with me. I LOVE YOU DEARLY. I will always remember how you taught me how to be myself, not caring about what others thought. I will remember your tough love, though that love is which makes me strong. I will miss you making me laugh. I will miss your smile. As you always said that "bye" was too final, and then I would say" see you later" i love you pop pop...see you later when i get there....love always,
Shanieka

To The Green Family,
We have known "Bug" since he was a child living across the street from us on 35th St. in Wilmington... many years ago. He was in and out of our home all the time... just like one of the family as he was a friend of our son, Michael. His parents became close friends of ours too!
We were shocked and sadden to hear of his passing... you all have our deepest sympathy. God has never made a mistake and He called Bug home for a reason. Yes, we will miss seeing him, but just All you have to do is keep him in your heart and memories and he will always be close. We will remember him!
May the Lord send His Blessed Comforter to your family and give you peace! You are in our prayers.
With Our Love,

"Bug" to whom I refer to as my Big Cousin, Friend and Brother. Tears are coming down as I write this. But I know you're in a better place. Not long ago...we were just talking on the phone, and planning to hook up. I will truly miss you my dear brother. May God be with your family at this difficult time.

To the entire Green Family from Mark Smith, Charles E. Smith Sr, and family. Certainly you have our prayers in the passing of our friend. We will always remember "Bug" and your family when we were growing up in the community together at Mr Dorsey and Miss Cecil's house. We had some great times and were like family. Just know we are with you at this time of sorrow and remember weeping may endure for a night but Joy will come in the morning. Hold on!! and keep the faith. Much love and peace.

To the Family of Louis Cornelius Green, III, I extend my DEEPEST sympathy. Green was a wonderful brother and friend and I shall miss that beautiful smile and his warm conversation. Even though I moved from DE a couple of years ago, he remained a true friend and there was never a time when I visited DE and he saw me that he did not acknowledge our friendship with one of those big "bear hugs" and his concern as to how I was doing. To me, Green was a brother who never met a stranger and he will live in my heart and the hearts of others forever. Even though we feel his time on earth was short, I thank God for having the opportunity to have been his friend. I pray that God will grant you the peace and serenity you need to deal with this loss.

Lou,
Why did you leave us? You were my husband, Stans, devoted friend.
For that I say thank you. The friendship you too shared was unconditional. You helped me understand what true Masonic brotherhood means.
I also am going to miss you. Lou, you had a huge heart. If you could help someone you would. Stans and I appreciate the times we shared with you.
Thank you for giving us a part to play in your life and to enjoy you and your family.
We are going to miss your cooking Lou. We know you had mad skills. Stans is going to miss your macaroni and cheese and definitely going to miss your friendship.
Love you Lou.
Always loved and Never Forgotten.
