Jean! I miss you so much. So many times since you left me I have picked up the phone to call you realizing that you are not there to answer. I sit at my desk waiting for you to call and yell at me for not bringing whatever you asked from the store yet. That call never comes. I just want to hear you call me a dumb hussy or Sonny one more time. I want you to tell me I better not go drinking. I want to give you a kiss and tell you I love you. I can't do any of that. I honestly still can not believe that you are gone. I pray that you know how much I love and miss you. I don't know how I am going to get through Christmas without you. I just don't know. I know that you are God's child and that you are safe with him. I know he needed you, I just don't know why he needed you more than me. I can't question God so.... Just know that I love and miss you mommy

My sincere heartfelt condolences go out to each of you. As we all know, Ms. Jean was a wonderful woman of God and was like a spiritual mother to me. I will never forget her.
Let not your hearts be troubled. She is in a wonderful place now. No more pain, sorry, lonliness or grief. You will remain in my prayers. Memories last a lifetime. To God be the Glory.
Your Sister in Christ,
Paulette Holloway Lammers

Miss Jean was like another mother to me. I would often call her when I didn't understand certain things that were happening in the world. She always referred me to a scripture. Miss Jean always made me laugh. She would not sugarcoat anything. She would remind me how she got married when she was 16 years old. She would often ask about my children and say "Next time I see them they will be grown". I will miss our many conversations. Nicole, Larry, and Nin only God can comfort you through this difficult time trust in him. Please know that I also share your grief. If there is anything you need all you have to do is ask.
