Obituary of AFC Sarvante Tavari Bentley

Sarvante Tavari Bentley was born on June 12, 1980 in Chester, Pennsylvania to Elois and Van Bentley. He was called home to be with the Lord on August 14, 2006 at the age of 26. He was a graduate of John Dickinson High School, Class of 1999. Sarvante joined the Morning Star Baptist Church in Woodstown, NJ under the pastorate of Reverend Benjamin Mike. He was baptized on November 8, 1992. He was an active member of the youth group. He also was a member of the Intermediate Choir. His hobbies included arts and crafts. He showed his artistic abilities in many ways. He was a talented designer of logos that were captured on tee-shirts and other clothing. He was contracted for employment by Walt Disney because of his ability. Sarvante was an Airman 1st Class C-5 Crew Chief in the 512th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Dover Air Force Base in Dover, DE since July 27, 2005. Sarvante had a special bond with his only child, Darnell David Bentley. They were very, very close and loved each other dearly. In addition to his only child, Darnell David Bentley of Bear, DE, Sarvante leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Elois Bentley of Newark, DE; his father, Van Bentley of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Kiana S. Waters of Claymont, DE and Vanita L. Bentley of Dover, DE; his maternal grandmother, Leuthel Waters of Salem, NJ and his paternal grandmother, Rose Bentley Brown also of Salem, NJ; three nieces, Shakira Cooper, Tany�(TM)sha B. Simmons, T�(TM)asia T. Simmons; two nephews, Wa�(TM)mere S. Murphy and Donovan A. Clark; three aunts, Christine Watkins (Ross) of Bear, DE, Jacalyn Bentley of Salem, NJ, Marilyn Elsey (Ronald) of Woodstown, NJ; three uncles, Arthur A. Waters, Charles Bentley, Jr., and Steve Waters all of Salem, NJ; five great aunts; six great uncles. He will also be missed by his future brother-in-law, Donald A. Clark of Dover, DE; his Godmother, Patricia Congo of Salem, NJ; a special friend, Kimberly Ramsey; his best friend, Brian Johnson of Bear, DE and a host of other family and friends. Sarvante was a humble and well-like person. He loved his family and he was loved by them. The special times will never be forgotten.
