I was very shocked and saddened to hear about the loss of Bentley. I went to Dickinson with him and attended Goldey-Beacom when he was there also. He always had a very pleasant way about him that put me at ease when we spoke. My heart goes out to his family and close friends. God Bless.
Sincerely,
Gabby

Although Sarvante's body has been laid to rest, his spirit as well as the memories of him will live on forever in the people who knew and loved him. I remember when he told me he was thinking about joining the Air Force. I begged him not to do it. I was afraid they would send my only brother to war. Down to the day he signed the papers that made everything official, I was trying to change his mind. He told me he would take what I said into consideration but I knew his mind was already made up, and he left. However, when he got home from boot camp I was so proud of him and he was proud of himself. I am going to miss Sarvante's visits where he would play with my son Donovan and swap boot camp stories with DJ. I last saw my brother at a family BBQ. He was so happy, running around with the children ALL DAY LONG. I think he learned to jump double dutch that day. It is times like these that keep me from breaking down when I think about him being gone. My brother was always a hard worker; he always had a job somewhere. He always wanted to make sure other people were happy and his son was taken care of. I find comfort in knowing he can finally rest.
I love you M.M. / S.
Vanita

I went to Dickinson with Sarvante and I even remember when he and Amy had their baby boy. He was a great father and friend. I'm surprised and shocked at his passing, but everything happens for a reason. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. My prayers are with the family.

My Last Request--------Please don't say that I give up. just say that I gave in. Don't say that I lost the battel, for it was God's war to loes or win. Please don't say how good I was, but that I did my best, Just say I tried to do what's right To give the most I could, not less. Please don't give me wings or halos, That's for God to do. I want no more than I deserve. No extras, just my due Please don't give me flowers Or talk in real hushed tones, Don't be concerned about me now, I'm well with God, I've made it home. Don't talk about what could have been It's over and let it be done, just let the work I've done speak for me Whenyou draw a picture of me, don't draw me as a saint, I've done some good, I've done some wrong, So ues all your paint. Not just remember good times, but remember the bad, For life is full of many things, some happy and some sad... But if you must do something, then I have one request, Forgive me for the wrongs I've done, and with the love that's left, Thank God for my soul's resting, Thank God for I've been blessed. Thank God for all who loved me, Praise God who loved me best......your boy BikerBudy

Dear Bentley Family,
My sincere condolence go out to you. The pain that death brings can sometimes feel unbearable. May you find comfort in what the Bible's promises at John 5:28, 29. There Jesus said "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." We all look forward to this time.

I only had the opportunity to meet Sarvante once, but he was a friend to my son and daughter in law. The one time he was at my house, he was such a polite, kind and pleasant person to be around. He was so helpful too. I remember my granddaughters balloon got caught in the ceiling fan and out of an entire room full of people, he was the only one that ran to my assistance. That alone says alot about his character and the type of person he was. Having children his age myself,I can't imagine the pain you are in and the loss you will feel always. Please know that my prayers are with your family.

Sympathy goes out to Bentley's family. We will miss him so much, so sad he's gone so soon. Bentley was a great example of how most men should live-responsibly. He always had his priorities straight and had mad respect. I hope Darnell can understand that just because you aren't here Bent, that you're not always around. I still haven't accepted the reality of your passing yet! Why the good guys leave first, and the most painful??!! Keep us in your guidance, and know that, you may have not heard it much...but we still love you! I hope that you're life would be more celebrated than your death mourned. Until we meet again...go get those wings, they're very much well deserved!
