Dear Ms. Warrick, Mr. Cruz and Family,
There isn't any way to prepare for the loss of a son. I remember feeling so vulnerable when my Grandmother died suddenly, the loving grand- parent I had always turned to was gone. I felt as though I had to act grown up, but I felt very child-like.
You have my sympathy as you make your way through this passage. It won't be easy, but you can rely on the support of all your friends and family.
I went to Bohemia High School with your son, he was quite a guy. I've visited your home on many occasions. George and I have ridden BMX and Dirt bikes together. I grew up in the area, being from Cecilton it is always a tough thing losing someone you have known for so long.
I would like to apologize for not attending the funeral and/or viewing. I did not find out about the arrangements until after the funeral had already taken place. I would like express my deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Sincerely,
John Dixon
