Obituary of C. T. Leverett

Mr. Hayward he was fondly known as a gentle giant. He touched the lives of those he knew . Mr. Hayward went home to be with his father on Friday 13, 2005 at the age of 71. He received his early education from the Alabama School District. He then went on to serve his country in the United States Army. Mr. Hayward loved boating, fishing and barbecuing. In 1998 he meant and married Alethia Urquhart Reed. Though this union he was the stepfather to Robert Gainey and Brend Reed Skinner; grandfather to Tiffany, Jimille and Percy Skinner; father of Thomas Wash and father in law to Lydia Wash. His father, John Mitchell and his mother, Lucille Leverett and his sister, Ollie May Johnson predeceased him. His brother in laws; Donald Chambers and Slyvester Urquhart also predeceased him. He leaves to cherish his wife, Alethia Reed Urquhart Leverett; one sister, Mary Alice Boykins; nephew, Willie Lee Johnson; niecs, Gloria Whitehaed and Ernestine Johnson; devoted cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Taylor; sisters in law Ada Mae, Lendoris Annette and Anita Urquhart; brother in laws, James, Richard, John Lee, Rudolph and Andre Urquhart ; and one special aunt, Ruby Haskins; a devoted cousin Leonard Gatson and many other family members and friends Read C.
