I will remember my cousin Ricky.
It seems that our families have been overwhelmed this year by the number of people who are moving on, leaving the rest of us behind.
But none of them would trade places with any of us for any price - Ricky would not give a second thought to trade his new place for his old one.
And in knowing that, I can find peace because he will suffer no more, hurt no more, worry no more.
For those of us who remain on this earth, in this place, and in this time, challenging moments will inevitably lie ahead.
How we handle ourselves through those challenges is what will sustain us.
But this can happen only with the help of Almighty God, because we know that it is through His power that all things can be made anew.
So on behalf of myself & my family I pray for everyone - most of all his wife, his children, his grand children, Uncle Bobby & family, Speedy & family, and Gregory & family, & everyone else whose names time will not permit me to write into this space, one and all - that each one of you may find strength to overcome the grief through the power, glory, & holy spirit of Almighty God.
In Jesus' name I pray all of these things,
