Obituary of Donald Bernard Harrison

Spec Rider as he called often departed this life on January 29, 2005 at the age of 67. He attended the Wilmington public schools. After completion of his schooling, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served until his honorable discharge. Donald retired from thwe Wilmington Housing Authority in 1992. He was predeceased by his mother, Helen Rider-Bantum; his father, Charles W. Harrison; stepfather, Chauncey W. Rider, Jr. He is survived by 6 children; Trafinna Wilson, Donald B. Harrison, Jr., Donna Fawra, Antoinette Brown and Maurice and Ciarra Harrison; 6 sisters, Greta Robinson, Margaret Bell, Barbara Powell, Roslyn Joyner and Jacqueline and Sheila Rider; 1 brother-in-law, Brady Joyner;1 sister-in-law, Brunella Rider; 2 son-ilaw, Al Fawra and Wayne Brown; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; an ex-wife and devoted friend, Aretta Harrison; 2 aunts;2uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
