Obituary of Hattie Mary Jones

Missionary Hattie M. Jones, daughter of the late John and Mary Faison was born March 12, 1919 in Bristol, PA . On Monday, November 22, 2004 her spirit was called to join the Savior in that home not built with hands, but whose, maker and builder is God. Missionary Jones was educated in the Bristol and Philadelphia, PA school systems. She obtained her degree in Nursing in the late 1960's from the National Schol of Nursing in Philadelphia, PA. She went on to nursing and care for many people as she performed private duty nursing. She also served as a Missionary for many of her sickly patients who were not able to regularly attend church service. She was joined in marriage to the late George E. Jones and from this union she bore two children; the late Rosa M. Fountain and the late George E. Jones, Jr. Missionary Jones was an active member of the Lighthouse Church of God where ahe was also the "Mother" of the church. She was so fondly called "Mom Jones" at her place of worship where she enjoyed the presence of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ by singing praises and worshiping. She leaves to mourn; five atepsons, Jessie Bullock of Philadelphia, PA, Alton Jones of Laurel, DE., Donald Jones of Seaford, DE, Antonio Jones of Seaford, DE and Albert Lee Crippins of Federalsburg, MD; two stepdaughter, Rosa DeShields and Betty Ann Jones of Seaford, DE; 3 brothers Deacon James Jackson of Trenton, NJ., Bishop Marlon Jackson of Detroit, MI and Elmer Jackson of Philadelphia, PA; thirteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchilden; one great-great-great grandchild as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
