Today, we celebrate the life of my friend. I am unable to attend the funeral, but I will be there in spirit, praying with and for Abu's family. He was an important person in my life. I will miss him. As I rode to work today, down South Shore, I saw the sunlight beaming through the clouds onto the ocean. I thought of all the beauty that Abu had missed, never being able to come to Bermuda. But then I realized that Heaven is a far better, and more beautiful place. So when I am called home, I hope that he will be there waiting to greet me and show me around his Paradise, as I always wanted to do for him, in Bermuda. I will always love and cherish the time I got to spend with him. I will miss him.
