Obituary of George E. Bratcher

Age 63 of Wilmington, DE died Saturday, October 16, 2004 at St. Francis Hospital. George was the son of the late Julia and William Bratcher born January 7, 1941 in Sudlerville, Maryland. He was a graduate of Kennard High Scholl in Centerville, Maryland. He was united in holy matrimony to Doris Graves, May 11, 1963. To this union, 2 children were born, Michelle Bratcher-Lockamy and Angela Bratcher-Handy. He was the manager of Ferske's Beauty Supply for 35 years. He was a member of the Pondstown Father's Day Club. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles and spending time with his family. He was prededed in death by his siter, Genevieve Potts and 2 godsons, edward and Arnett Demby. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Doris; children, Michelle and Angela; 4 grandchildren, Tiffany, Lamir, Rakiya and Aisha; 4 sisters, Emily Orr, Marian Kennedy, Cylvia Wilmer and Nadine Pettyjohn; 3 brothers, Standford, Winfield and Terrance and his wife, Virginia and a host of cousins and other family members and friends.
