Obituary of May V. Jarmon

servant of God and people departed this earthly life on Friday, March 27, 2015. May has left a legacy of service, accomplishments and proven pathways for success and has inspired many other to always strive for excellence. May worked for Stuart Pharmaceuticals (aka Astra Zeneca). She was owner and operator of Jarmon's Day Care, Travel Service and first Black Mary Kay Cosmetic Sales Director in State of DE. May became involved in the political arena in Chester, PA. May left this life as current Chair of the 16th Democratic Representative District, Founder and President of Friends of Garfield Park Lending Library, Martin Moyer Rep(Voter Registration, education and Participation), Organization of Minority Women. She was an active member of Bethel AME Church. She leaves to cherish in her beautiful memory, husband of 54 years; Lee Jarmon, Sr., daughter, Carolyn Shaw (Stephen), Lee, Jr. (Alisa) and two grandsons; Lee M.
