Obituary of Wilbert James
Wilbert James Jr. son of the late Wilbert James Sr. and Dorothy (Mills) Stevenson-Huff was born on August 27, 1947 in Charlotte, North Carolina. As he was affectionately called "Will" was employed for the Chrysler Corporation located in Newark, DE for more than 35years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed all genres of music and could be seen at every Clifford Brown Jazz Festival. He had a love for bowling, watching old westerns and martial arts movies. He enjoyed being a fisherman as well. He was in a happy place watching TV with some fried chicken and a bowl of ice cream. Will was a faithful member of Alpha Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board. His top priority was his family whom he loved dearly. His sense of humor and laughter will be missed by all who knew him. Wilbert is survived by his wife Karen, daughters Alisa, Sharon-Beth, siblings Leon R. Stevenson Sr. (Nyra), Deborah A. & Theresa M. Stevenson, five grandchildren, J'na, Natasha, Jazmen, Mya & Jai, five great grandchildren Aundrea, Malik, Maleah, Kayla & Mishon, and extended family Booty, Bunny, Dee Dee, Sooty, Terry & Zetta, along with 13 grandchildren and 12 additional great grandchildren, devoted cousin Diane Mills, host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
