Obituary of Beatrice Thomas

Beatrice "Bea" Thomas was born on the glorious day of March 24, 1942 through the holy union of her parents the late Elder Lenster and Susie Beatrice Lumpkin in Andersonville, Georgia. Beatrice's father married Lucille Jones at the passing of her mother and raised Beatrice from an early age. The gates of heaven opened and Beatrice transitioned to glory at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, Delaware on December 12, 2014. Beatrice went to glory during the evening grace hour surrounded by her loved ones and her beloved Pastor; Dr. C.T. Curry. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband, David E. Thomas, of over 40 years, her daughter, Carmen M. Ross (New Castle, DE) and three brothers; Joshua Lumpkin, Morris Lumpkin and Lewis Lumpkin (Detroit, MI). Beatrice leaves to mourn her devoted daughters; Cecilia I. Robinson (Wilmington, DE); Pastor Sabrina R. Hughes (Larry) (Bossier City, LA); Crystal B. Ross (New Castle, DE); a son and daughter through the union of David; David Thomas (Wilmington, DE) and Lenora Digsby (Philadelphia, PA); four sisters and one brother, Ruthie Edwards, (Detroit MI), Pauline Ushery (Charlie), Kings Mountain, NC, Elder Lorin Lumpkin (Cecilia) Detroit MI, Iline Thomas, (Los Angeles, California) and Josephine Stewart, (Philadelphia, PA), 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, a sister in law; Francina Johnson (New Castle, DE) and a host of other relatives and friends.
