Obituary of Mary Alice Cooper
Mary A. Cooper Age: 80, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2014, at her residence after a battle with cancer. Mrs. Cooper, affectionately known as "Alice," was born on January 28, 1934 in Phenix, Virginia. Daughter of the late Scott Randall and Mittie Clark Randall, Mrs. Cooper worked at the General Motors Corporation (Wilmington plant) for 27 years. She loved cooking, reading and her all-time favorite — shopping. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Cooper, brother, Ernest J. Randall, sister, Pearl Randall, father, Scott Randall, and mother, Mittie Clark Randall. She leaves to cherish her memories, devoted daughter, Letitia A. Howell, devoted son-in-law, Ronnie Howell Sr., three devoted grandsons, Sterling, Ronnie, and Christopher Howell; one great-grandson, Adrian M. Howell; one niece, Marina A. Simms; one-great niece, Serita D. Dunnock; and one great-nephew, Donald N. Dunnock, Jr.; also two special friends, Marguerite and Candice Lambert.
