Obituary of Larry Darnell Charles

On Tuesday, March 20, 2012, Larry went home to be with the Lord. Larry was born in Montgomery, AL, on September 8, 1954 to Ernestine Charles and the late Albert Charles. He was raised in Buttonwood, NewCastle, DE. Larry later moved to the Eastside of Wimington . He graduated from Howard High School. Larry went on to work for Well Laundry on Vandever Avenue and later for the State of DE. He was a kind and sweet person who always respected others and always kept everyone upbeat. He was a great friend to everyone and kept a smile on his face all the time. He was an excellent cook and stayed in the kitchen. He loved the Dallas Cowboys. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Albert Charles. He is survived by his mother, Ernestine Charles; 2 brothers, Terrell and Wayne Charles; 2 sisters, Donetta and Genevieve Charles; one uncle, Clarence Charles ; 3 aunts, Barbara Lewis, Ruth and Ethel Charles; 5 nieces, 6 nephews and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
