Obituary of Sylvester Lee Tolliver

Sylvester Lee Tolliver was born May 21, 1935 in Bramwell, WVA; to the late James and Luvenia Tolliver, has passed and joined his heavenly father on Friday, August 13, 2004. Sylvester attended Bluestone High School and Bluefield State in West VA. He also served in the US Army. Sylvester moved to Wilmington, DE in 1962. Sylvester worked as a truck driver for Keen Compressed Gas for 27 years. Sylvester married Barbara on May 14, 1960. They shared a wonderful 44 years together. Through this union three beautiful children were born, Felecia Carter, Lucinda Tolliver and Preston Tolliver. Sylvester's cherished moments and accomplishments was his devoted love to his wife Barbara and their three children. He enjoyed family vacations, fishing, watching westerns, and simply spending time with his fmaily. Sylvester's memory will live through his wife Barbara Tolliver, three children Felecia (Howard) Carter, Lucinda Tolliver, Preston (Angie) Tolliver, one brother Wesley (Louise) Spencer and three sisters Wanda (Oliver) Taylor, Linda Thompson, Pamela Lowe, ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, and his devoted Friend for over thiry years Lewis Hynson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
