Obituary of Jean Lorraine Warner

Jean Lorraine (Thomas) Warner the daughter of Doris O. Washington and the late Dennis R. Thomas departed this life at home surrounded by family on August 22, 2014 at the age of 63. She was educated in the Wilmington Public School System and graduated from P.S. DuPont High School in 1969. She met and was united in Holy Matrimony to Curtis A. Warner and from that union, Curtis Maurice Warner was born. Jean was employed by E.I. DuPont Nemours & Company for 24 years in various assignments in the Dupont Imaging Systems/Medical Products at the Glasgow site. She held the positions of clerk, distribution clerk(invoicing), master clerk and in 1993 she was promoted to programming assistant. Her hobbies and interest included making beautiful gift baskets, photography and scrapbooks. Her favorite pass time was polishing her nails while doing her laundry. One of the many memories that her nieces and nephews will remember is the many birthday parties at her house. She was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Maurice (Reecie) Thomas and step-father Carlos C. Washington. She leaves to cherish her memory...her son Curtis (Marty) Warner, (Erikia); grandchildren, Edward (Eddie) Harper, Christopher Marquis Ewell, Colby Eleanor and Curtis Warner Jr., her goddaughter & niece Chaz A. Jackson; her mother Doris O. Washington; Sister's, Dalphine Jackson (Bill), Karen Robbins (Michael), Cynthia Stewart (Bernie), Cassondra Jackson (Reggie); Brother's, Carlton Brown (Jackie), all of Delaware and Kevin Thomas of Baltimore, MD.
