Obituary of Stanley Edward Scott

Stanley Edward Scott, who was affectionately called Stan, was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 5, 1938 to the late John and Genieve Scott. He was one of four siblings. His brother, Preseton, and his sisters, Margaret and Genieve, all predeceased him. Almighty God, in his infinite wisdom, quietly called Stanley home to rest from his labor on August 15, 2014 at his home in Wilmington, Delaware. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Helen Scott; five children, Stanley Scott (Rebecca), Steven Scott (Nesha), Turner Gunter, Shadeed Majeed (Naseeha), and Theodora Gunter; six grandchildren: Brittany Scott, Peter Scott, Christopher Scott, Adam Majeed, Briana Gunter, and Turner Gunter, II; one brother-in-law, Vincent Bullock, Sr; one sister-in-law, Cornelia Anne Van Hosen; one godchild, Alice Scott; two very special persons, Sara Crawford and Jeffrey Sullivan; and a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
