Obituary of Marquis D. Pressey

Age 23, Marquis Dajuan Pressey was born February 19, 1991. "Baby Boy" as he was affectionately called by his loving mother entered eternal life on August 7, 2014. Marquis received his education from Dickinson High School. He loved spending time with his family, especially his mother. He was a free-spirited and humble person who enjoyed playing cards and basketball, listening to music, and taking and posting pictures of himself and his family. You would often hear Marquis stating his favorite quote " I already knew that, of course" Marquis is predeceased by his grandparents; Ollie Pressey and Joe Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted mother, Jackie Pressey (John Richardson) and father Gregg Baker; grandparents, Johnny and Almether Baker; his loving siblings Chris and Jamour Pressey, Gregg Cunningham, Javon Gibbs, LaTisha Tolbert and Aniyah Gibbs. Two beautiful nieces, Azariah Pressey and Kamari Flowers; nephew, Xaviah Fullman; special cousins; Briana, Robert, Bookie, Sabeerah, Rahim, his big cousin Sessybud and Sabrina and who is affectionately known as his second mother. Marquis will also be remembered by his close friend, Sirron "Ron-Ron" Chambers; Godchildren, Sanya Chambers, Kai Dickerson, and Nasim Wise; his girlfriend of several years, Tamara Dickerson, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
