Hi my name is Philmekia (Phil-meeka)I would like to send my condolences to you and your family. Death is not the end. It says at 1John 4:8 that God is love, so please don't think that God took away your loved one. He loved us enough to give his only-begotten son up so why would he take away our loved ones and see us in pain and distress. James 1:13 says: When under trial, let no one say: "I am being tried by God." For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. God cares about us and Isaiah 25:8 says that God will swallow up death forever and certainly wipe the tears from all faces. The best place for our family members to be is in the memory of God. John 5:28,29 says: Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Jesus) voice and come out. Revelation 21:4 also says: And he (God)will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. There will come a time when all of our dead loved ones will be restored to life! Always think of "death as a comma, not a period because death is not the end." I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and we offer a brochure entitled When Someone You Love Dies, it is a strengthening aid based on Bible scriptures which we encourage you to look up in your own personal copy of the Bible.
