Dad.......I never thought you would leave this soon. I still think I'm sleep and this is a bad dream. I enjoyed my time with you and will always keep you in my heart. I keep checking my phone to see if I missed a call from you needing me to pick you up and take you home. The calls when you want to know what me and my family is cooking for dinner so you can come over to eat. There are soo many good memories that I will be able to reflect on to help me get over that you are gone. Your grandson Jahlil said since you are gone there will be no more "nation wider". His father told him he will now be the "nation wider" on your behalf for our family. Your entire family loves you and will miss you. Continue to watch over your family...until we meet again. Deek has been in my life for 18 yrs now...been the father figure I never had. Words cant explain how much I will miss you coming home after a hard days work wanting to know whats for dinner. I may not have been your biological daughter but you have been with my mom for so many years and lived with me the last nine yrs how could you be anything but my dad. I love you my sons love you and you will always be pop pop in their eyes especially your Muskrat. Rest in peace dad your memories will stay with us until we all meet again.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. Donnie will truly be missed. Hold on to all the fond memories and feel blessed to have known him. He was a one of a kind person with a heart of gold. He has no more pain or suffering now. Heaven bound for sure.
