Corine Jones Wooten was a dear friend of my parents, and she helped raise me and my siblings here in Franklinton. She was such a kind and sweet person, and had a sweet spirit about her. She surely will be missed by all of us here in Franklinton. I often spoke with her via phone and she never forgot people names, and was always asking about those whom I did not know. I know she is in a better place, and out of her suffering. My brothers, Bob, and
Rev. Danny Wilder will always remember her love, caring and the wonderful meals, she made for us.

To the Family,
I met Mother Wooten some years ago. I will alway remember her for having one of the best kept front yards in the Family Development. When you drove pass Mother Wooten's house you couldn't help but to look twice.
Mother Wooten's life so fits the scripture, "To live is Christ, to die is Gain." (Philippians 1:21). She LIVED her Life: She was a woman of God. She met all the people she was suppose to meet, she encouraged those she was to encourage, she shared her wisdom with all who was to gain from it, and she prayed for those she was to intercede for.
God allowed his light to shine through Mother Wooten and now she has gained the glory of eternity. I can't even imagine the worth of her GAIN!
I'm thankful for the Wooten season in my life.

We (the Glover Family) loved Mom Wootten; she will be missed. She took her flight with grace. I was there when she took her last breath. She looked so at peace. In visiting with her she was satisfied with whatever plans God had for her; she was ready to meet him. She had a good life. She was sweet; she called us her children. She was very caring.

Ms. Wooten's Homegoing is such a bittersweet occasion. You hate to see her go because of all the people that Love her so much, however....She definetly lived so that she could live again and SHE STATED BOLDLY that she was ready to Fly away and that this leaving is NOT a SAD Ocassion, SHE SAID there are to be NO long faces..so what do you say to that? I'll miss our conversations..We talked regularly about "Knucklehead" (Jeff)and the Soaps, Cable, her famous cakes from back in the day and just how Great God IS. So Ms. Wooten you always celebrated the whole month of June; celebrating your Birthday...I can imagine the Celebration that you are having NOW......Rest on Ms.Wooten, Rest On!
