Son of the late Walter and Dorothy Barber Hanner was born on January 17, 1949 in Bear Creek, North Carolina. Hermon was joined in marriage to Wendy Allen on November 1, 1991. He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife Wendy, four devoted children; Christopher Hanner, Terrance Hudson, both of Wilmington, DE Dana Cropper Williams, Robert L. Cropper, and devoted son-in-law Stephen E. Williams of Gaithersburg, MD. Five siblings; Lillie Currie, James Hanner, Nancy Hallagher, Faye(James)Brown and Harvey Hanner.
