Sue and Family,
You know if I could be there I would not hesitate to share your joy and sorrow during the going home celebration for Eddie. Eddie was one of the finest human beings I have had the good fortune to have been acquainted with. His enourmous talents were unlimited--writing, art, home renovations among others.
I never saw Eddie when he was not in a pleasant mood. He was always kind to me and I miss him now as I write this note and will always remember his handsome, smiling face. To his children and grandchildren, I hope you realize that you are who you are because you had a great man for a father. No one loved you more than he.
And no one will miss him more than me.
