Obituary of Karen Coverdale

Karen Leslie Coverdale  (Kizzy) was born January 25th, 1956 to the late Olivia Anderson and the late Walter Samuel's. She departed this life and went home to her lord  and savior on February 26th, 2021. Karen attended Mary C I Williams Elementary School and later on receiving her high school diploma from Wilmington High School. Although she attended college, Karen had plenty of Alcalades. She enjoyed church, reading the Bible, singing, dancing (the shimmer shake)  helping any and everybody she could. Karen's apple of her eye was her four daughters Carla, Lakesha, Karisha, and Vernique. Karen's life was full of adventures. One of her favorite things to do is spend lots of time with her children grands and great grands. She loved the lord. Karen became a member of New Destiny Fellowship on December 31st 2019 and was baptized on August 21st 2018. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother Godmother and sister. She also loved her devoted little sister Dionne Broadnax, (Virgil) Goddaughter Dawn Brown To know her is to love her.
