To the Family of Gregory "Greg" Boose, My name is Kevin Matthews and I lived at 151 Norwood Street in Newark (Vailsburg). It's so many years ago but I can actually remember Greg being one of my first friends as young boys. We often played games and road bikes together and of course played sports. As kids we use to admire each others hair, mine was blonde and straight and Greg's was brown and curly. As we got older we went to different schools, Greg went to Lincoln and I went to Sacred Heart. Unfortunately, like so many childhood friends we often go in different directions. However, when I came across Greg's obituary I was compelled to watch his memorial video and it left me wishing that I had never lost touch with him. What an incredible tribute to the life that he lived. I wish that you all find peace during this very difficult time and find comfort knowing that Greg, your son, husband, father and brother made an impression on me that I remembered after more than 45 years.
