Shawn(as I knew him) was my daughters "boyfriend" once upon a time. I know good souls when I see/meet them and he was a good soul. He was an angel on earth. He loved my cooking and I loved to feed him. He was kind to me and my family. I have another daughter who was an upperclassman at BHS while he was there. She was a cheerleader and she always talked about how he would speak to her everyday. He was happy and outgoing and a piece of my heart broke when my son told me he was gone. To his parents and family, I can tell the influence you had on his life because it showed from the inside out. My heart goes out to you. He was a special kid, and a young Black King and now because his assignment on earth is completed, he's a guardian angel. His smile will forever live in my memory and in my heart..
