Obituary of Stan Jamel Robinson

Today we lay to rest a son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and a dear friend to all.  As we remember the life of our loved one, we come together to celebrate Stan Jamel Robinson.

Stan Jamel Robinson departed this life on December 25, 2020.  Jamel was born in Salem, New Jersey to Sandra Robinson and the late Stanley Johnson on March 26, 1969.

Jamel grew up in Penns Grove and attended the Penns Grove School System.  At an early age, he enjoyed playing basketball.  He was part of Garden Tech University while growing up in Penns Grove Gardens.  He had two close friends Troy Ransome and Melvin Lewis.

Jamel was a loving man who loved and adored his family.  He was well known for making everyone laugh.  He loved his mother and his children with all his heart.

He was predeceased by his grandfather Alvin Robinson Sr., grandmother Winnie Sweet, father Stanley Johnson and Uncle Stephen Robinson.

Jamel leaves to cherish the memories, his mother Sandra Robinson; his children:  Dante Wortham, Tamara Caesar, Tania Robinson, Dowen Pugh, Diante Davis, Jalia Hooks and K’lonni Giboyeaux; his grandchildren: Nehemiah, Najlah, Elijah, Niz’Ziyah, Tanye, Dowen, Dallas, Zoe, Karter, Mahalie and Royal; his brothers Melvin (Kathy), Shawn; sisters, Kenya, Delenia, and Sandrea and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
