Obituary of Michael G. Bhagloo

Michael George Bhagloo known to most as Jimmy, age 62 of Wilmington Delaware made his transition peacefully on December 14, 2020.

Michael was born on February 11, 1958, to Alice and Purdeen Bhagloo in Kingston, Jamaica. He attended Coburn Garden High School. Michael became a self-taught Jeweler. He moved to the United States in 2000 and continued his career as a Master Jeweler at Janvier Jewelers where he spent over 20 years totaling 44 years as a Jeweler. He has touched so many lives in so many ways, but especially with his love of jewelry; he enjoyed creating unique, exceptional handmade pieces for his family and numerous others. He had a passion for horse racing, he loved it so much that he named his first born after his favorite jockey, Emelio. He also enjoyed playing dominoes, solving crossword puzzles, playing games on his iPad, taking pictures, listening to Oldies and Indian music, along with growing gardens with his wife. If you knew him, then you know he meant business. However he is also very welcoming, sociable, and enjoyed telling stories. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandkids.

In 1982, Michael married his best friend and the love of his life, Evelyn. They celebrated their 38^th anniversary this past October. Their union blossomed into a beautiful family filled with love and countless cherished memories. Michael was a proud and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is immensely loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him!

He was preceded in death by his mother Alice Bhagloo, father Purdeen Bhagloo, Sisters Iris Chetram, Roslyn Bhagloo, Joyce Williams and Ivy McMillan.

Michael is survived by his wife Evelyn Bhagloo; sons Emelio Bhagloo, Christopher Bhagloo, Richard Bhagloo; daughter Christine Sinchongco (Richard); Sisters Avis Maragh, Jennifer Bhagloo, Kathrine Williams and Brother Joshua Bhagloo (Ann Marie), Grandkids Jhaiden, Shalini, Kaylee, JaySean, CJ, Zion, Nilahni, Saraia, and host of relatives and many friends.
