Obituary of Michael V. Coverdale

Michael V. Coverdale, Sr. was born to Annette Turner and Donald Coverdale on July 15,1965. It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing.  God opened his arms and took Michael home on December 6, 2020 at the VA Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware at the age of 55.

Michael graduated from Wilmington High school on June 8,1983. After high school Michael enlisted in the United States Army completing his tour with honorable discharge. Michael continued his studies with job Corp where he studied aircraft aerodynamics from 1991-1992.  Michael held a career with the VA Hospital for 10 years.

Michael was proceeded in death by his father Donald Coverdale, his maternal grandparents Matilda Cephas and Walter Woodard, his paternal grandparents Raymond and Eva Coverdale. 

Michael leaves to cherish his memories his mother Annette Turner; children Michael Coverdale Jr, and Sarah Coverdale; brother Tony Cephas (Coverdale); sisters Cheryl Coverdale and Cindy Coverdale-Stephens; nephews Tony Cephas II and Brian Coverdale; nieces Tiahna Cephas, DiNesha Stephens, Tiarra Stephens and Brianna Coverdale; many aunts, uncles and a host of cousins and friends.
