Obituary of Alfred Alexander Nelson, IV.

Alfred A Nelson IV was born May 23, 1977 to the late Alfred A Nelson III and Cynthia Nelson in Wilmington Delaware. He departed this life on October 28, 2020. Al received his education in the Wilmington public school system and graduated from Brandywine High School. He was a bus driver with Advance Student Transportation for over 10 years before retiring in 2015. He also had CDL license and drove over the road briefly. Al married Edna Matthews on New Year’s Eve 2011. Together they blended their family to include their daughter, Daziah and sons, Jordan and Evan. Al loved to fish and taught his grandson to fish as well. His love for cruising allowed him to gain many friendships over the years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred A Nelson III and Cynthia Nelson. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Edna; daughter Daziah; son Evan; grandson Dallas; granddaughter Drue; sisters Remona and Ashley (Brandon); brother Maurice; bonus siblings: James, Rozlynn (Eric); nieces: Kiyara, Journey, Makayla; nephews: Jordan, Maurice Jr, Elijah; bonus mothers Brenda and Delores; godmother Dartha Poteat; 3 devoted daughters Ermanique, Kiondra, Naairi, and many extended family and friends.
