To The Family of Charlene Hope (My Sunshine)
With a heavy heart, I extend my deepest condolence on the transitioning of your loved one (and my sunshine) Charlene. I remember Charlene from my childhood days as always being one of the most polite, well-mannered, sweetest neighbors we had. Later in life, we reconnected and I enjoyed hearing how proud she was of her son's (Charlie) accomplishments and success.
She became one of my most loyal clients always looking for a small piece of jewelry for her granddaughter and because Charlene always left such a warm feeling and a trail of brightness with you after being in her presence, I nicknamed her 'Sunshine'.
There are no words I can offer to ease your pain right now, but I do want you to remember that God's Word gives us comfort in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I pray for her sweet eternal rest til we all see one another again and for God's peace and comfort to be with you through and beyond your time of bereavement.
Dear Lord, please comfort those in grief,
Love them, lift them, grant them relief
For loss they’ve suffered, sadness felt;
Make this sorrow slowly melt.
Lord, let happy memories ease,
Creating peace like a gentle breeze,
And as you help them make it through.
Draw them closer, Lord, to you.
