My dear sweet Lea! My first real work friend from SODAT! We had so many great times together. From taking rides together to just hanging out. I can't believe this. I am praying for you Lady. Your mom loved you dearly and each time she spoke of you it made my heart smile. I am praying for your peace and comfort. May God bless and keep the entire family during this difficult time.

Thankful for all of the laughs and good times she shared with our family. The girls will always remember you and never forget “Cheesecake”. You’re at peace and can rest now. Gone but never ever forgotten. Lady, Thawn, & family - we are praying for you, cherish those beautiful memories, hang in there.

I had the pleasure of being the one Sis. Thomas called Pastor for the past 7 years. She joined Bethel A.M.E. Church and readily became a willing worker. Her sense of style, humor and pleasantness complemented her enthusiastic worship. As a Stewardess, she was dedicated and took the position very seriously. As an Usher, her pleasant personality became magnetic. As a member of the Lay Organization, she demonstrated true discipleship. Sis. Thomas was our first Woman of the Year at Bethel. She wore that with a badge of honor "A Virtuous Woman". She will be missed. I will miss her. Forever she will be our "Good Morning America" Bethelite. Rest on Sis. Thomas, your worship and praise here on earth was only a practice for your heavenly praise that you do now. Love and Peace - Pastor Robinson

Dear Lady, LaJuan, Sharif & Family,
We send our love and our sincere condolences in the transition of our Leatty. She is another one of our Carver Drive Sisters whom we loved and consider family. We have such fond memories of Leatty. She had such a pleasant and pleasing personality. I can remember her as a little girl sucking her thumb and twisting her hair. I use to tease her about it when she became older and she would just laugh. Leatty was just easy to get along with. Our last conversation together was doing the passing of Val and we said that we would keep in touch with each other (little do we know what the future holds). Leattys' love of her life is her daughter, Lady. She loved Lady with all her being and Lady loved her the same. Lady you have been an Amazing daughter!!! Family hold on to all the wonderful memories that make you laugh and smile. Hold on to each other. Hold on to GOD'S unchanging hand. Leatty brought happiness to many. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. May her Love for you be what you remember the most. May GOD'S presence begin the healing in your hearts and souls, and may His Love surround you always. We love you, we care for you, we are here for you.
Love & Peace,
RuthAnne & John Surratte & Family

Leatty,Leatty, Leatty, I was so hurt to hear of your passing. Leatty and I were friends since I was 14 yrs. Old. We have so much fun . I remember when we were supposed to be looking for a job. Always need up on the wall in front of Bethal village . We had secrets nobody knew.. she adored Lady and she was the pride of her joy. She knew Lady would be her caretaker. I just told her I would always be there for her, as a sister and Friend . She will be truly missed . God needed another flower and he picked her. R.I.P. we will meet again.Love you all and if you ever need me I will be there for you guys. Toni Winchester and Family.

She was my daughter ‘s Shawnika’s McNeil Godmother. We lost touch with each other after graduation but lots of great memories! I am so sorry to hear about her passing.
