Obituary of Raleigh S. Evans, Jr.

Raleigh S. Evans Jr., was born on September 16, 1967, in Wilmington, DE to Roxie Evans and Raleigh Evans, Sr. Raleigh had a sudden passing on August 12, 2020 in his home state Delaware. Raleigh, also known as “Rolo”, received his early education at Colwick, Miqudale, and Dunleith elementary schools, as well as going on to receive his diploma at Delcastle High School. After his education experience, he went into a career as a Janitorial/Maintenance Tech, as well as a Warehouse Logistics Operator in which he worked up until this present day. Rolo was associated with The Silver Boys NCSC Car Club with most of his older school buddies, who still to this day have an unrelenting passion for cars. Raleigh is also preceded in death by his father, Raleigh Evans Sr., his elder sister, Lavern Ponder, and his nephew Sameir Handy. “Rolo’s” legacy is survived by: his sons, Jonathan Grimes, Angelo Wright, Jr.,; his mother, Roxie Evans; siblings, Wallace Evans and Katina Williams, Jay’von Knott, Nymere Anthony Wright, and a host of relatives and friends.
