Portia, I cant believe your gone,im just finding out about your passing. Im holding on to the memories of u, the last conversation we had at Friendship Church womens event, you made me look at my life differently after that day, just when u think your life is Hail, somebody else is worse off then you, thanks for the lifting my spirits, and im sorry i never made it to see you. I met Portia last year when we attended the Friendship Baptist Church Bible School. She was a very friendly person. I enjoyed our classes where she expressed what she had previously learned during her Christian Walk; and was diligently endeavoring to fill her being with more knowledge about our Father. I am pleased to have had the privilege of knowing her; and happy to know that she is now with the Lord whom she loved, and has followed His light to Heaven.

To the family of Portia Hargraves, I knew Portia since grade school and we had a lot of laughs together. It saddens my heart to see another angel taken from Earth. To My Sisters Sharon and Anna and the Hargraves Family: My heart goes out to you and your family in the lost of your sweet sister Portia. Portia fought a good fight, but God knew best.
