Obituary of Roberta M. Graves

Roberta M. Seagers Graves was born February 15, 1921 to the late Mary Seagers and George Daniels. She peacefully passed away at her home on June 22, 2020. Roberta was educated in the Middletown Pulic School System, following that, attending college. Roberta was was employed by the Government in Philadelphia, PA. On November 21, 1959 Roberta was married to the late David Gaves at the Home of her sister Mary Boyer by the late Roy Williams. Roberta loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved to travel around the worldand jazz music was her favorite. No matter what was going on you could always count on her there. Roberta was a faithful member of Trinity AME Church where she served on the finance committee and was also a member of the Annie White Missionary Society. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters Pearl, Mary and Thelo and husband David. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted care giver Sam Hopkins(Joanne), 2 special cousins Rochelle Johnson and Tyrone Johnson, 2 special friends Gwendolyn Cale and Sheryl Cale and a host of other family members and friends.
