To Effie and family keeping everyone in prayer as you celebrate Leslie’s life. I will always remember fondly all the great times we had on Redding Estates in Middletown Delaware, trips to New York, Philadelphia etc. Also I remember when I first moved to Washington DC and Leslie let me stay with her for a few days in Fairfax Virginia. Praying for the Spencer family, especially my sister, Althea Spencer. I feel like I should be right there by your side, but here I am in Savannah, Georgia. I pray with you, I walk with you, and I whisper in your ear, "You Are Not Alone". I never had a sister, but feel like you are my sister and I love hearing stories about you and your sisters. Leslie and you had a special relationship, allowing each other to be their own best selves.

I will always remember Leslie as a good friend from childhood on through adulthood. The wild and crazy things we did at Del State during the summers, the nights we rode around the streets of Middletown doing nothing and going nowhere, being on the cheerleading squad at Middletown High and going to games, being in the YPD at Trinity, yes those were the good old days with good friends whom you have now joined on the other side .
I will miss her big smile whenever we ran into each other when I happened to be home and we would just talk and talk and plan to get together before I left town which usually never happened!
Rest on my friend, until we meet again.

Leslie, my sister, You were my first friend and play mate and my Big Sister. Thank you for loving me all of my life. I will cherish all the fun times we had growing up in Middletown and spending time with our family in NY. You lived life your way and kept a smile on your face. My heart is aching and the only comfort I have is knowing that you have been reunited with Mommy and Daddy.
