Ginny, Trina & Family
I was sitting here at my desk today and thinking of "Max." Thinking of how God allowed me to be the last face that she saw when God told her to come home. I thank God for the fellowship he allowed us to have, that began from a third Thursday grocery club/brown bag at St. Stephens Lutheran Church. Yesterday, In the rememberance and Thanksgiving for the life of Maxine, Rev Diane allowed us to gather together and under her leadership send up prayers and blessings for the room where our grocery club is held in the honor of that fatal day for us, but glorious day for "Maxine" where she heard him say,"WELL DONE!"
September 19,2013 "Mad Max" Day!

To the family of our dear Friend Maxine, we, the Porter family are deeply sadden by her lost, and pray that the Lord give you the strength you need at this time to make it through. Maxine was family to us, considering we use to play together as children, running from Jackson Street to Van Buren Streets to Playing basketball at the park across the street. We would take a break from all the play by having snacks & dinner over each other’s house, ïÂSh And later, watch each other growing up into adulthood.
To the children of Maxine…, know that you are loved, and not alone. We are here for you should you need us. Love, sincerely and respectfully …. the Porter family… Carla, Steve, and Cynthia
