Obituary of John E Madric, Jr

John Edward Madric Jr. son of the late John E. Madric Sr. and Nellie V. Madric was born on May 20, 1949 in Hertford, North Carolina. He departed this life on April 30, 2020 at his home. John was also known as BoJack to family and friends. He received his early education in the public schools of Wilmington, Delaware and graduated from Wilmington High School in 1968. BoJack attended DelTech for two years until he joined the U.S. Army where he served our Country. He was discharged with Honors after His service. His working career included New Castle County for several years after which he was hired at Chrysler (UAW) where after 32 long years, He retired. John hobbies included simply enjoying life, cooking, spending time with his family and friends, fixing and racing cars. He was a person of few words but loved everyone and was well respected and funny. John leaves to cherish his memory to his wife Linda Cannon-Madric, six children Troy Johnson (Lakisha), Shawn Johnson, Michael Garnett, Sr. (Tamesha), Tishyra Armstrong, Jane’t Bryant (Victor) and Elton Davis; twenty-two grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Barbara Madric, David Madric, Darrell Madric, Mary Hucks, Dawn Hucks and Janet Madric. Aunts Cornelia Maddrey, Frances Sessom, Agnes Woods, Helen Foster. Two Uncles, Walter”Buddy” Maddrey (Louise) and Timothy Woods, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He is now in God’s hand with his Mother Nellie V. Madric (Mum), Father John E. Madric Sr. (Jon) Brother, Charles Madric and Sister Dorothy (Dot) Madric. Lovingly Submitted, The Family
