Obituary of Ja'naija Lanea Johnson

Ja’naija Lanea Johnson affectionetly known as “Naij” was born on September 18, 2003 in Wilmington DE to Johnesha Bailey and Aaron Johnson. Naij received her early childhood education at Eastside Charter School. She was currently receiving an Education at Concord High School in Wilmington, Delaware. She was employed with the summer youth program during the summer with the State of Delaware. Naij was a fashionista! She loved to get dress and made sure her lip gloss was popping. She knew she was all that when she got herself dressed and ready for the day. She loved to make sure she had the latest hairstyles and fashions. Naij had a smile that would light up her face with her signature dimples. She was fast as lighting when she was running track, and loved listening to music. Her favorite artist was “Lil Baby”. Some of her favorite sayings were “WYD Babes” or “What you Cookin”. Ja’naija was a member of Wilmington Apostolic Pentecostal Church. Where she was baptized and received God’s holy spirit. The rainbow was over the church the day she received the Holy Spirit. Naij was preceded in death by her step-father, Leroy Lynch. Naij leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Johnesha Bailey, and father Aaron Johnson (Sherreda). Her siblings Aleija, Le’airah, Aariona, Laron, Leah, My’aja, Raekwon and Quadir. Her grandparents Deanna Johnson “Mom-Mom” (Michael), Teen and Daniel Jones Sr. Her pop-pop’s Daniel Jones, John Walker, Eric Thomas, Mike Johnson and Preston Brown. Her great-grand parents, Lucy Johnson and Dorothy Black. She also leaves to cherish a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
