Obituary of Rochelle Yvonne Hilliard

On January 1, 1936, Rochelle Yvonne Hilliard was born in Auburn, Alabama to Willis Earnest Brooks and Arlanders Dacans (Brooks). She passed on Sunday, January 26, 2020 in Wilmington, Delaware. Her early education was in Columbus, Ohio. She worked as a nurse in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She lived in New Castle, Delaware for 45 years. Rochelle loved to read the Bible. Many called Rochelle “Mom” for advice. Rochelle was preceded in death by her husband Frank O. Hilliard, and her daughter Miyoshi U. Fogg. She leaves behind cherished memories to her son Franchot J. Hilliard, her daughter Yvonne A. Thurman, her grandsons, Franchon D. Robinson and Charles W. Thurman, granddaughter Elizabeth Byrd, 10 great-grandchildren, and additional relatives and friends.
