Obituary of Roland Leo Dodd

Roland attended early childhood education in Hendersonville, NC. Roland received his General Education Development Diploma (GED) December 2013. Roland was a jack of all trades and held various positions such as carpentry, management, a cook, etc.

Roland went through a rough patch at one time, then found Christ in 2008 and turned his life around. At that time, he attended First Baptist of Hendersonville and later became a member of Contemporary First Missionary Baptist Church also in Hendersonville, NC. He kept his spiritual journey going after relocating to Delaware where he attended Pilgrim Baptist Church in Newark, DE.

Roland (Ro-Ro) was preceded in death by (great-grandmother) Myrtle Dodd who he cherished, (father) Roland Leo Terry, Grandmother, (brother) Keith Collington and (brother) Kent Collington.

Roland was a dedicated husband. He also loved his family dearly. He was fun to be around; Roland was a DIE HARD EAGLE FAN (HE BLED GREEN) and enjoy life with his wife.

Roland is survived by his devoted wife Cora Dodd, mother Myrtle Dodd-O’Neil, 2 sisters Donna Collington & Debbie Roundtree, brother Jeffrey Collington, son Rashod Dodd and wife Sha, daughter Breanna Dodd, daughter Krystal Dodd, daughter Denise Boyd and fiancé Rodney, son Carl Daniels Jr and wife Aisha, daughter Charlene Toliver and husband Lavon, and son Raymond Daniels and wife Sheryle. Also 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law and host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
