One of the things I loved about Miss Shirley was her ability to sing her way to the podium to do the welcome... Well, one Sunday, I said I was going to do that, but I prayed about it first... And I should have known it was gonna be a big no from the big man... He started off with " My precious, precious child" and it went downhill from there... Love you guys...

The Mckoy Family of Fuquay-Varina, NC hearts were truly saddened to hear of Shirley's passing.We grew up together , attended the same High School and lived within walking distance of each other, We all had some very good times in those days.
